Just as each pearl is individual, so dealing in pearls was always a personal matter for the Gellners. Dealing in pearls soon led to designing. Gellner's independent cultured pearl design was launched in 1972, with family input from Tove Gellner and daughter Birgit Gellner- Pavlow, and set design trends with international top designers. The emphasis is always on combining classic looks with current fashions, the timeless with the contemporary. Gellner proves that high-quality cultured pearl jewellery can be both sophisticated and young-at-heart.
